Salt Poem by Rose Marie Cook

Salt

Dawns break setting lighted fire about
Reaching towards darkened skies
Luminous life salts the earth.

Soft winds whisper dreams and new hopes lifted
Leaves flit to the grass crisp with death
Luminous life salts the earth.

Dew covered plants to greet the day
Waking up drowsily, To a new day break, kissing you good morning
Luminous life salts the earth.
