Saltillo
Let me dream tonight
and in a land of sun
and a dark-haired people
let me run
in my dream
through a narrow sloping street
towards distant mountains
that again I may meet
with the one that I loved
that we may embrace
in the same little plaza
let me look on his face
one more forever moment
till again I awake
to the life that is here
let me feel for a time
that what's far is now near.
