Precious, tiny bird
how little they know,
who crave your freedom,
for bravery and joy
the width of the sky,
is your only shield
against ever-looming
predators
protected by the laws of nature
while those who envy you,
(not knowing your little heart) ,
are surrounded
by walls
and guns
and burglar guards.
