Salvation. Poem by Sudipta Bhattacharyya

Salvation.

Blood runs through
My blue veins
In each & every moment.
The earth is washed
By the gentle showers.

Give me the showers
Of your coral lips;
Your softened face
I wish to captivate
In between my fingers;
You never look at me,
Even reluctantly.

Yet I wish to flee
Into your world;
I wish to be drenched
By your sweet showers.
