Samson Poem by Doris Clore Demaree

Samson

The Bible tells the story of Samson,
A very strong man.
As he went down to Timnah
He was attacked by a fierce lion.
With his hands
Samson tore the lion apart
And killed it.
Days later
When he returned,
A swarm of bees
Filled the lion's carcass.
Samson ate the honey
Then he told a ridde:
'Out of the eater came something to eat
Out of the strong came something sweet.'
Can you guess the riddle?
