Santa Poem by Josephine Lauderdale

Santa

If it blows rain and drops wind
There will be no confusion
As it is all true

That East is West
And West is East
Bad is good
And good is bad

Because in reality
It doesn't matter anyway

If it spills water over milk
I won't clean up
Because
Now is then
And then is now

Because in reality
It doesn't matter anyway

If I get grape jelly
And can't find the butter
I wont look for bread

If the doorbell rings
I'll pretend not to hear
I will turn up the volume
And change the channel

Oh Damn...
I should have answered

It was Santa Clause
