Santa Monica Sands - Poem by Celia Petry

All my love
To the people
Who pass by.
Hearts beating
Any way
Any weather
Any time.
Barefoot tourists - walkers
Between the ocean and the sky.
I'm sure
I won't see them twice
So I say in my silence:
"Welcome!"
And one second later:
"Good bye!"
