Sapphire Fire Poem by Carey Noelle

Sapphire Fire

Your blue eyes burn me,
again & again,
Melting away my sanity.

My stomach turns,
again & again,
I throw up butterflies and bees.

My mind is so infected,
too sickly to turn back now.
They say people learn
to forgive,
But I still don't know how.
