Saucer Poem by Rich Harney

Saucer

Said a lonely saucer - so,
Less its only friend,
How quiet are my ramparts,
And measureless my rim.

How I miss the clicking of
Your nethermost at tea,
Dost thou court a carriage
That holds you sweeter - ly?

Oh! my distant china doll
East of where I've been
Will you bring your butter creams
And love me once again?
