Save Me Poem by zara williams

Save Me

Rating: 2.5

It starts with a name,
then comes a tear,
it doesn't take long,
to develop your fear.

Fear of the taunts,
fear of the abuse,
don't try to fight back,
there is no use.

Your day will come,
to shine like a star,
they shall regret,
giving you each scar.

Don't give up,
there's much to come,
you're an inspiration,
even more to some.

You'll find your friends,
the ones who'll stay true,
they wont be scared,
to stand up for you.

The bullies will leave,
but those who saved you,
will be there forever,
like your own little crew.

Keep your head high,
the skies will clear,
your true friends will help,
you forget your fear.

No more teasing,
no more tears,
congratulation to passing,
the teenage years.

Very moving! I really like the rhythm of this piece, but the 6th stanza doesn't flow well with the other stanza's. Maybe rewrite or remove?
