Save Me Poem by Mustafa Ghuneim

Save Me

I would sing for you thousand songs,
I would repeat your name, till my throat sours,
I would wait for you, even if it took so long,
I would wait for you, till I find you infront of my door,

And when you cry, I would catch your tears,
And when you laugh, I would be there,
And when you need me, I would be free,
And when you fall, I would be your back,

We would feed our anger with sober,
We would hope for better,
We would have faith,
We would love one another,

But 'If' is always there,
And my place, if not with you won't be here,
Our lives are cut by edges, but our end is not that near,
We would stick to hope,
This is our only chance,
This is our survival rope.
