My past is nothing but misery and pain
thats why i have nothing but fear to gain
if i tell you the hurt inside of me
you would surely flee
i walk on the line of darkness and light
for my sanity i have to fight
im afraid one day i wont win
and the all consuming blackness will begin
i hold on tight to the ledge
i dont want to fall over the edge
i cant tell you what happend to me
you not knowing makes me feel alittle free
if the darkness captures me and all i see is night
please take my hand and guide me to the light
maybe one day the pain in my past ill be free of
i find strength in all your love
