Emptiness permeates my soul
Seeping throughout it
Tainting - corrupting - spoiling
My body, my everything
Then, you come
To banish my sickness

To save me from the depths
Then, you come
To love me
And I cry out to the world
In agony
Why me?

In lovingness

Forever and ever
