Say It Like You Mean It Poem by Danel Van Wyk

Say It Like You Mean It

My head is spinnig round and round
Should I find to believe that you
mean a simple three letter word?
Do you say it like you mean it or
have to mean it?

Once too many times I've been hurt
my heart left to bleed to death.
Should I believe what you mean
Or do you just have to say it?

Maybe a warnig, a sign
shall be enough to prepare me for the
cruel pain awating me. The anxiousness,
the curiousness of the heartbreaking
truth.

Hasn't life hurt me enough? Hadn't I suffered
enoug? What more does this cruel
world have left for me? Yet should I
find to believe that you mean a simple
three letter word? Do you say it like you
mean it or have to mean it?

Say it like you mean it. All I ask
of you is the unhurtfull truth. Say
it like tou mean it or just don't say
it at all!
