Say It Now Poem by Mark. A Heathcote

Say It Now

Say it now
We might never meet again
Say it now
Tomorrow isn't promised
Say it now
To my heart and soul
The terror of the night
Could be a dividing valley
Say it now
Don't lead me on
Holding useless tarot cards
I need a shepherdess
To guide me home
Say it now
Lead me through the dew

I'll take my salvation
My sanctuary here and now
Say it now
If you really care
Say it now
And drop your sable coat
To your shoes
Say it now
Please don't leave me in these blues
Not when the stars
are shining bright
Say it now
Don't just turn and go.

Because tomorrow isn't promised.
Say it now
Because I'm enslaved
