Today to give you company,
i take with you one peg,
tomorrow you may say one more,
just one more extra leg.

And slowly i start,
drinking too much of it,
can't stop even if i want to,
because i am addicted to it.

Than God forbid, fate curses me,
something unfortunate happens to me,
and having no other solution,
this becomes my heart's pains ablution.

Finally one day when i come to senses,
i see while walking my feet shambling,
the world which i had build for myself,
i see how day by day it is crumbling.

Now you may say i am overreacting,
i am making too much fuss out of nothing,
but my friend why to step on that way,
which may ruin your world someday.

so please take this foul water away from me,
and never ever offer it again to me,
and i hope you will be as much friend to me,
as you were before i said all this to thee.
