Saying Good-Bye - Poem by Jerry Abrahamson

How do you say
Good-bye to a loved one
Who is at
The end of his life

It's a hard question
That we all must face
At one point in our life
When a relative dies

We don't want to think about it
So we just want to draw away
And pretend that it's not happening
That it's not at all true
