wanting to live
feeling dead inside
no emotions
no connections
just walking through life
as a zombie
why can't you be like everyone else
laughing, having fun
enjoying the simple things
there is nothing
in this world for you
taking a knife
slicing into your skin
as the blood drips
releasing the pain within
pressures going away
you want to die
just to disappear
so scared inside
wondering what awaits you
just wanting someone to care
to make you want to live
when you know
you are truly alone
slowly laying back
finally a smile comes over you face
you are finally free
released from the shackles
of this world of entrapment
