Scarpetta Rules
A local author seized my psyche
With tales in murderous style.
Pathology, her sleuthing tool,
Outwits the villain's wile.
Her plots have held me mesmerized.
Each page effects a spell.
From Richmond, where Scarpetta hails,
With love from Pat Cornwell.
Her latest gave me nightmares.
Such power to alarm
Was there between the covers of
Her book 'The Body Farm'.
