Scars On Your Heart Poem by Deepak Calyampoondi

Scars On Your Heart

Why do we fight? ,
Do it in a haste,
Then worry over it,
And then call it 'What a waste'.

Life is only given,
To live in peace,
Let the fountain of hatred,
Simply cease.

Enemity is a devil,
That sits on a tree,
Branches out the hatred,
To our innocent minds,
Bring scars on your heart,
Which multiply by day,
But to overcome it, there is,
Always a way.

Allow those sorrows to heal,
Pray to the lord, kneel,
Ask him to forgive,
Let the evil-doers live,
Send wrong thoughts out, just banish,
And then see how the those scars,
On your heart just vanish...
