Scilence Poem by Connor Brown

Scilence

minute by slow minute
I ponder my demise
i lay close to the still stained blade
the clock ticks
and the bell chimes
no tears'll be shed
nor faithful eulogy spoken
a heart can only take so much
and this one has withstood too much
to remain silent
