Scorpius Poem by Miles Ayres

Scorpius

So you think you can just throw it away so quickly
You knew you wouldn't be able to change, mold, or 'fix' me.
Like your favorite watch you never remember to wind,
love becomes de-railed, a crash site lost and left behind.
I told you that i loved you, a rare occurrence from my lips.
Forever imprinted on my soul, the poison still drips.

YOU THINK I'LL FORGIVE, DID YOU THINK I'D FORGET?
MY LIFE HAD NO MEANING TIL' THE DAY THAT OUR EYES MET!
Like Medusa's persona of turmoil, pestilence, and death
You wasted our love until you sucked out my last dying breath
What beauty what sin, with my heart turned to stone
Can love live again? in the end I know you'll be the one alone.

Under what appears a tranquil exterior
lies truth, passion, an obstinate interior.
Think your the one with eyes that kill,
take a look into my sharp blue eyes and it; ll make you kneel.
Doesn't everyone know there's no match for Scorpio?
Take my advice, YOU BETTER LEAVE AND GO!

Can love live again? in the end I know you'll be the one alone, ALONE!

Scorpio is a ground dwelling killer with an unforgettable sting,
intensive, persuasive, you don't have the slightest clue...
This whole time you've been my toy on a string.
