Every night I look at the stars
and my heart aches thinking of you
A scream of your name fights hard to let loose
as my heart pounds thinking of you.
Every morning I feel the warm sun
and my heart gnaws thinking of you
A scream of your name fights hard to let loose
as my heart pounds thinking of you.
Every reason I smile and every reason I cry
makes my heart ache thinking of you.
Every moment I sleep and every moment I wake
makes my heart ache thinking of you.
Every thing I give up and everything I try
makes my heart ache thinking of you.
Every turn I roll by or every turn I take
makes my heart ache thinking of you.
A scream of your name fights hard to let loose
as my heart pounds thinking of you.
I try holding it in harder each time
so the surface seems calm and sublime
I often successfully extinguish the scream
only to bear the torment of you haunting my every dream.
