Sea Of Life Poem by Sumana Sarkar

Sea Of Life

Thou Art A Mighty Elephant In The Sea Of Life
Thy Gait So Majestic, Thy Demanour Oh So Pleasing
Thy Kingdom A Clean Green Merry World
The Massive Banyans, The Tall Grasses Swinging Along
The Cool Breeze, The Glittering Lakes
The Deers Dancing, Sheeps & Goats Bleating With Joy
Birds Chirping, Ants Scurrying Around
And Suddenly The Wolves Pounded Down
Marauding The Anthills, Trampling The Grasses
The Animals Run Helter Skelter
The Air’s Filled With A Defeaning Groan
Scare, Fear, Apprehension Reigns
And Then Thou Emerge From Thy Mighty Aboard
Trumpeting & Growling Out Loud,
Sending Shivers Down The Wolf Hound
Defeat, Defeat, Defeat, The Final Deciding Blow
And They All Join Hands In A Humble Salute
Thou Art A Mighty Elephant In The Sea Of Life
Thy Gait So Majestic, Thy Demanour Oh So Pleasing
