Sea Stroll Poem by angel lockheart

Sea Stroll

</>As I stroll along the sandy shores of time,
And gaze out at the sea,
I wish that we could be holding hands,
As you walk next to me.
The sun is trapped in a continuous sunset,
And the waves in an unbroken roll,
Showing the repetitiveness of the times,
As the clock continues its toll.
But I have changed since we first met,
Though I’d give anything to recapture your sw33t dreams,
I know that I gave them up for nightmares of reality,
And almost drowned in the rivers so deep.
I pause, and crouch, to pick up a seashell,
And hold it to my ear,
But what I hear is just a whispering myth-
It is your music drawing near.
