I can remember SWALK (sealed with a loving kiss) and ITALY (I trust and love you) . I remember when I read the book Future Shock by Alvin Toffler in the 70's he said relationships were more stable because people wrote letters, but with advancing technology at such a rapid pace, relationships would suffer! The poem is beautiful and 'the last letter in the pile was tear stained and edged in black told the story that her lover never came back' is the perfect finale for the sentimental mood of this piece.
