Season Has Thus Begun Poem by Christopher Hays

Season Has Thus Begun

New season has thus begun

I have noticed the trees, their leaves turning yellow and brown, softly dancing to the evening breeze, falling slowly to the ground. This day I have noticed is bringing that cold afternoon wind. Before to long fall will step in, and summer shall sadly end. Just like it happens each and every year, the temperature grows cold. This is going to be a bad winter, well that's what I was told. How many people still remember September 11..? All those people remain in. I need to stop for ever in the love with the savior in heaven...

White clouds floating across the blue sky this early day. Learning so much of my yesteryear, I think about tomorrow and for the life of me. I cannot think of anything to say. I stop and start thinking, with so many raw memories, walking through hell without blinking. My eyes are so red, irritated and dry. There are some things I need to do, right before I die. So here I drop all my baggage on the floor, those things no longer needed, I shall never again carry them in my heart anymore. So I think if I get past this day, even though I will complain, in the long run, I would say that's okay. For it seems that the grace of God has stepped in my way....

Everyone learns something new, each and every day. No matter what others think that they need to say. Somewhere placed on this planet to deceive, while others where here to receive. For me I grow tired of fighting with myself, everyday I do my best, to help everyone in my own special way. When playing with fire, there's a chance to be burned, throughout this life, through heartbreaks, sorrows and the best of times, I can say that I have learned...

So much pain and sorrow walking on this earth, living and walking through darkness, we all need to try to develop that loving kindness. Intel then I shall try to sleep tonight; Tomorrow I will face life again. I need to stop crawling, I need to stand up and begin to run. For my best season has thus begun.
