Seasons Poem by Jacque Hardison

Seasons

I feel the chili breeze
No warm sun out so I have to freeze
My heart is pierced with a ginormous splinter
But only when it is winter

Flowers blooming
The sun begins looming
A bird's chirp always have a good ring
But only when it is spring

I can't stand this humidity
No cold places when I roam this city
Being dehydrated is always a bummer
But only when it is summer

The color of the leaves change
I always found this a bit strange
The only time when I have fun an all
But only when it is fall

The four seasons changes my mood
This is something I've never understood
I lay in the grass and watch the clouds go by
But only if it is right season for the sky
