Seasons Poem by Kunjal Ahuja

Seasons

The flowers form a new layer
With a new fragrance in the air
It follows winter
And precedes summer
The flowers dance with the air
Dressed with flair

There spreads a golden layer in the sky
When the sun rays get into the house like a spy
You enjoy the conditioned air
With ice of your favourite flavour
You digest the days with a drink
And the nights start to shrink

Everyone thinks to participate
When the drops precipitate
The kids swash
In every plash
You enjoy the melody
With your fried snack and tea

Everything dies
But still the beauty lies
When you look below
Everything seems yellow
The leaves shed
Making the days condensed

Even the sun has to bow
When the temperature gets low
People peek
When the sun plays hide and seek
Your nimbleness exuviates
When the snow effectuates
