Seasons Change Poem by erika ayrezzzzz

Seasons Change

.
Seasons change as do people
Leaves fall and the sun shines
Forgetting about your important lines
Maybe tomorrow you will remember who you are.

We have grown into two women
Who have learned to be strong and fight
Our days spent together, talking all night.
Maybe tomorrow you will remember who you are.

Months have gone by, soon to be years
You act happy while I know you’re in tears.
Maybe you have forgotten who you are
or don't care enough to remember.

You see friend, it will never be the same
I’ll always remember the friendship we shared.
But when the seasons changed, so did we.
You are a person you promised you’d never be.

It's not 'gay', a good poem to me is one that you can see the emotion behind. Even if it's simple and you don't like it, the feeling behind it doesn't lie. Keep writing. Even if you think your poems are 'gay'.
