Seasons In The Sun Poem by Raymond Isaacs

Seasons In The Sun

As the sun of Autumn
disappears on the horizon.
The winds of Winter
sweeps across the plains.

The golden-brown leaves
which covered the earth
vanished with the warmth
that Summer brought.

Warm twilighted nights
Are replaced with cold ones.
We are longing for the heat
Of the sun which we cursed.

My life is in perfect sync
With how the seasons change.
Warm and love-filled now,
And then cold and gloomy later
