Sometimes I wonder why things happen as they do?
Is it fate or just cruel reality passing through?
A time when things seemed simple and happiness abound
Now those days are gone, nowhere to be found
Remembering our time, while thinking back
What once was blue skies, now turned black
Looking at the stars that twinkle in the sky
Thinking of you as the days pass by
Turning inward one can see
How it's really meant to be
Dreaming of tomorrow
Trying not to drown in my sorrow
I think I have lost my way
Feeling as lost as I feel today
Lost in a world that scares me to death
Everything falling apart, unable to catch my breath
Pushing for brighter days ahead
Tired of living this life of dread
Hope is the bright shining light that helps light our way
It's what can help get us get through one more day
Being with you even if just a while
Dark shadows vanish beneath your smile
Feeling the warmth of your touch
Means to me so very much
Like the calming of a raging sea
Being with you means the world to me
When life pulls me down
It's you who brings me around
From you, I felt so much love
Truly a blessing from the One above
My heart to you, I'll continue to give
Without you, I have no will to live
When you think you have nothing left at all
I'm still here babe, I'll give you my all
Words cannot describe
The emotions I'm feeling inside
Your gentle lips and beautiful glow
You are my angel from head to toe
Every part of me misses you
I lay here and wonder, Are you missing me too?
