Secret Lover Poem by Cheyenne Harbison

Secret Lover

Rating: 4.5

13 roses scattered round;
Orange, blue and even red: simply laying on the ground.
The promise of love lies entwined in the meaning of a rose.

Secret lover, keeper of my heart:
Wish I'd found you from the start.
Long talks and serenades,
My heart flew to you and stayed.

Never leave, no don't you dare.
My heart and soul left beyond repair.
Secret lover, keeper of my heart:
Don't let our love fall apart.
