It’s times like these
When I wish friendships didn’t exist
Cause feelings get more sensitive
Too easy for me to slip

Slightest insecurities
Uncovered
Causes trauma

Just me
Just me
Don’t leave me

Visions once so clear
Become obscure
In the face of friendships

Strengths become weaknesses
I will never understand why
But I feel it every time
Things go bad

Smallest issues
Blown out of proportion
But only in the secret place
In my heart

So as I deal with those bad times
I’m the only one knowing why their bad
Maybe not fair
But too embarrassed to share

But with love comes pain
I think that’s the saying
I wouldn’t give up our love
So I guess I’ll have to get used to hurting
