Secret Society Of Cats. - Poem by Scout Jean

Do cats have secret lives?
why is it that they wait till night.
Do they have something to hide?

Do they have gang fights?
Or ecstasy raves?
or has my mad mind been taken to different heights?

Theres all types of cats.
Big ones.
Small ones.
Shy ones.
Mad ones.
Flat faced.
No faced.
Live and dead ones.
But dead ones have no purpose.
but to be eaten by the rats.

(So we will exclude them.)

Theres just
a way
that a cat walks.
It will walk like a tiger
or a lion.
although it could be your pet,
it is all ruling.

A cat's eyes hold so many secrets.
Ones that even pirates
or peter pan seek for
and steals.
The shape of the eye
itself
is a mystery.

a line.
a single
black
line.
Just like a crocodile's.
Ever think about that?
There eyes are pleasing
not like those ragged goats.
Whose eyes shake my core.

I'm sure cats have 'secret societies'
in which no man
or woman
would be allowed.
Just maybe,
perhaps,
Will I be invited to
these exclusive parties.
