Secrets Poem by Ilana Bell

Secrets

Rating: 5.0

Why do you stay married?
Because you have no clue about the secrets your husband wants to bury
Doesn't he know eventually the truth always comes out
He'll lie and lie in your face, without a shadow of a doubt
It's much too late to change things, he's already chosen to break his vows,
it's not his wife he's thinking about when he's quietly laying down
Don't say I didn't warn you when everything comes to light
You'll be thankful when you realize you no longer have to live a lie
