Seduction By Emeralds Poem by Ray Andrews

Seduction By Emeralds

She walked slowly into the room
And sat on a small sofa on the
Opposite side of the coffee table.
She sat on the edge of the cushion,
Her body not facing me directly.
She looked beautiful from the side,
Her auburn hair hanging down her
Shoulders. Her breasts were small and
seductively molded to her supple frame.
As I talked to the others, her quick green eyes
Would glance at me. Occasionally she
She put her emerald pendant in her mouth,
Moving her tongue along the chain.

I Knew

When she crossed her legs her skirt
Pulled slightly over her knees, and the jeweled
Ankle bracelet on her left ankle played an
Overture.

I Knew

Uncomfortably I shifted in my chair as
Her red full lips touched the rim of her coffee cup.
She smiled and seemed to slightly thrust
Her breasts forward. Hints of her perfume-the private
Stock of Venus.

I Knew

I Knew- I wanted to mingle our smells, to scream
Our yells, to tear apart, to go to the heart, to resonate,
To capitulate-to weave my lust through her spirit

I Knew-I was crazy, these hormones always testing my soul

I Knew-Not what she was feeling

Very well written piece, Ray, beautifully constructed. I loved the last line, it finished it off so well. Loved it. Love Ernestine XXX
