Seductively Stunned Poem by William Cavanagh

Seductively Stunned

Rating: 5.0

I tread forlorn, immersed inherent your desert dunes
For outright distance I can purview I am uncommon, detached
There was and remains, relentless sensuous sunshine
That seemingly circumvented and besieged my mortality
For age and eon the skies abide cloudless clear and blue
For that which I have never beheld before or aft
I cannot fathom foreign fracas with the exclusion
Of my sauntering sifting shoes atop scorching sand,
I, savoring impassioned humility, seductive warmth
Peerless unparalleled solitary, beautiful Sahara sunset
I love you... my thoughts are clear and true
We prolong and persist my presently aimless promenade
Expectation implicit final destination unspoken
When, for a mystical fulfilling moment I sense your magic
At my moment of validity, the cadence of my gait is silenced
By the touch of your crimson kiss, sunrays pursed upon my lips
Sahara sunrise
