See brother, see
Just how we were the dirts on the village streams
Like the crows, our play and screams
On holidays from our beating teachers
Remember the same love we had,
Knowing no tribe nor religion of men
Remember our spoils of crab walls.

See brother, see
Just how you were always, always my ally
Forget the lies you have heard
Forget what the street preachers might have said
All of the tales from our elders,
That so far we aren't born of same mother
We cannot change the world.

See brother, see
Just how politics wasn't here before
Every time I thinks of those silly vows and plans
We built egyptian kingdoms with sticks,
Inventing games only we could win.
The thrill of being movies knights,
You were the boss and I was the imaginary actor.

See brother, see
Just how You taught me to ride a bike,
To push through wobbly village roads,
the pains from falling down.
And you pulled up and cleaned the blood,
Finding goodness in every struggles,
Finding strength in each other.

See brother, see
Just how now time carries us forward,
but some things stay the same,
the laughter and music still echoes,
The sun still shines from it gases
the brotherly love is still warm
though the world keeps changing.
