Always trying to be strong,
Keeping my feelings inside,
But my eyes tell a different story,
Of the pain I cannot hide.

It shines through so bright,
That everyone can see,
My lips may be silent,
But my eyes they can see.

They no longer glisten,
They are all red and sore,
Tired of all the hurt,
Lonely from being treat like dirt.

I don't share my depression,
I keep it too myself,
But people see my tears,
Though my eyes they see my fears.

I try and try to hide it,
Tell everyone I am ok,
But no matter what I do,
They see the pain through my eyes,

It's something I can't disguise.
