See To Free

Lord through Your Word creation’s made
The sun, stars land and sea
Forever more never to fade
Are children like me

Whatever colour, size or shape
Life’s everywhere to view
Yet from the truth there’s no escape
There’s only man, like You

A little below the angels still
The world at his command
So it was our Father’s will
But now; not as planned

For man fell short and far much worse
Your word he disobeyed
Suffering Lord Your deadly curse
As is today displayed

Now all creation moans and groans
Beneath Heaven above
Weak and sick man’s flesh and bones
Seek endlessly for love

Both day and night for You we cry
Each single day we live
Praying until the day we die
Our former life You give

For Adam was never meant to fail
Nor Eve his wife the same
Till on their eyes was placed a veil
The serpent brought to shame

Six thousand years here we stand
Where few have learned to see
That man through You may understand
That only love makes free
