Seeds Of Comfort Poem by lola cesini

Seeds Of Comfort

Rating: 5.0

Sunken cushions in oversized chairs
Strong arms that hug us like bears
Lullabies hummed by mothers with care
All give us comfort to spare.
Tiny tots looking up to their masters
Silent prayers that follow disasters
Well wishers that lead us on after
All give us solace with answers
Caring strangers who lend us a hand
The warmth that a friendship extends
Knowing there's someone who cares
Makes the hardship easier to bear
Comfort and safety is always found
When you build on solid ground
To make sure the foundation is safe
At the base lay a great deal of faith
Spread those seeds like the wind all around
They may bring love and unity abound
Fill the air with the sweet scent of hope
Seeds of comfort are what help us cope.
