A sense of detachment now a little unsure
the remedy is near but you can't find the cure.
Vainly you attempt to weaken the walls,
to plunder the city, to walk through the halls.
Thoughts are distorted your left unaware,
The place your in you know not where.
One thought fuels your weary veins,
but the beast is wild, now slip the reigns.
Your searching for something which can't be found.
Try to leave but to the walls your bound.
In a corner nearby you see your escape,
but its without form and its without shape.
Madness now creeps up your spine,
robs you of reason and your will to shine.
Frantically searching for the truth among lies
But with each fibb told the truth slowly dies.
