Self what is wrong with you?
Stop feeling this way
That's what they all say
I cant overcome the feeling of worthlessness
The medicine helps move one mood away
But three others come to stay
Day by day over and over
Self how much more can you take?

How did we drift so far apart
Self you were once happy and loved life
Now your eyes are dimmed and all you want to do is grab a knife
