Send Me An Angel Poem by Jonathan Doe

Send Me An Angel

Rating: 5.0

God! Send me an angel from the heavens above!
So that I too can experience true love!
Love, which is so soft and warm;
For that is love, in its plainest form.

God! Send me an angel from the heavens above!
An angel so pure, immaculate as a dove!
To guide me to my star-crossed sweetheart,
With whom; till death do us part!

In life I’m supposed to be happy. Aren’t I?
But for now all I do is cry;
There is no angel for this lonely guy.
And this is the truth for I do not lie.

God sent me an angel from the up in the sky,
For me to find love before I die.
God has sent me an angel so pure and true,
And so that angel lead me straight to you.

Sensitive and delicate; sealed with care.
Perfection like this is seen so rare.
Brave and strong; yet so fair.
That is you; always there.
