Sense Of Wonder. Poem by Michael Cochrane

Sense Of Wonder.

As I walked out one summer's day, a skylark above my head hovering over the field of wild flowers. The scent of beauty, the heat of the afternoon sun on my face and I was in my own world. Exploring nature's wonders and the songs of birds drew me up through the trees observing the sway of the branches in the wind the squirrels darting across the canopy. The way the sky changed and the clouds formed in me a sense of wonder and a connection to the earth.
