Senseable City 2 Poem by Mohammad Yousef

Senseable City 2

By Mohammad Yousef

In the heart of the city, where the streets are alive
With the hustle and bustle of those who strive
To navigate the pathways and avenues
Of a metropolis that never sleeps, never snoozes

Here we find a group of diverse minds
A politician, a theologist, an intellect align
With a poet and a painter, all gathered round
To discuss the senseable city, profound

The politician speaks first, with a voice so bold
'Our city must be efficient, our mobility bold
With transportation that moves swiftly and clean
We must embrace progress, it's a sight to be seen'

The theologist nods, with a thoughtful expression
'Energy is key, it fuels our progression
But we must be mindful of our consumption's toll
For Mother Earth's resources are not infinite, they're whole'

The intellect chimes in, with a logical stance
'Knowledge is power, it gives us a chance
To improve our city, to innovate and create
To build a future that is truly great'

The poet then speaks, with words that flow
Like a river of emotion, with a lyrical glow
'Our senses must be awakened, our spirits must soar
In a city that sings, in a symphony of more'

The painter adds his voice, with colors so bright
'Our city must be vibrant, a beacon of light
With art and beauty on every corner we turn
Our souls must be fed, our hearts must yearn'

And so the dialogue continues, with passion and zeal
As each voice adds depth, each idea so real
For in the heart of the city, where dreams take flight
The senseable city emerges, a vision so bright

With mobility that flows, energy that sustains
Knowledge that grows, and art that remains
The city becomes a tapestry, woven with care
A masterpiece of humanity, a vision so rare

And as the sun sets on this gathering of minds
The senseable city unfolds, its beauty divine
A beacon of hope in a world so fast-paced
A reminder that progress is not a race

So let us embrace this vision so grand
And work together to build a city so grand
Where mobility, energy, knowledge, and art
Come together in a symphony, a masterpiece from the heart.
