Separate Rooms Poem by Jan E Smith

Separate Rooms

Seperate rooms, a wall apart
The pain I feel inside my heart

Tears that fall and never stop
My soul too low, too low to drop

Those vows we took upon that day
Of love to keep and always stay

What have I done and is it me
that makes you feel you now must flee.

Each night I pray that in the dawn,
I'll have the strength to carry on.
