Separate Ways Poem by Aimee Nell

Separate Ways

Rating: 4.5

I want the chance I never got.
I want the kiss we never shared.
I want something that will never be,
Because we're moving on.
But I still see your picture behind my eyes.
I still long for the words you never said.
But you're here and I'm there
And we're going our separate ways.
But I still dream of your touch.
Can it ever be?
I think not.
You never gave a damn,
And now we're far apart.
