Seperate Life(Lift) Poem by sharmila Ranade

Seperate Life(Lift)

The long, lonely, pale road
Traverse through the colorful path

A moist pair of hopeless eyes
Keep crying on their behalf

I hold my joys woven in their pain
I barter my share but all in sheer vain

The world far away keeps laughing at me
It fails to understand not to let it be…

They define the humanity in the easiest way
It is used when convenient and then thrown away

The profound question haunts me long
What is a human and a human is not?
